Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Barrister Abdullah Mumtaz Kahloon had decided to bid farewell to the party ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The development came after Kahloon, who was missing from the Islamabad airport, came to the spotlight. Expressing his thoughts on the occasion, Kahloon said, ''The news circulating about my kidnapping on social media is bogus. Even now, I am with my friend.''
''I have decided not to contest the elections, slated to be held on February 8,'' Kahloon said.
He made it clear that, due to the illness, he was not able to appear before the high court.
