Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Rana Sanaullah condemned the use of foul language in politics on Saturday.
Addressing the public gathering from NA-100 in Faisalabad, the former interior minister said, ‘’The people of the constituency had always reposed trust in me.’’
He took a jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, saying, ‘’Shehbaz Sharif had invited the PTI founder as the opposition leader for negotiations. In the same vein, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had also told the PTI founder to take a step forward. But the PTI founder had said that I would put all the politicians behind bars.’’
‘’Apart from blackmailing the political opponents, nothing had been done in four years [PTI’s tenure]. The PTI-led tenure had witnessed inflation, and the country was on the verge of default.’’
‘’This person [PTI founder] had indulged in other activities after the vote of no-confidence motion. He used to take my name and say that I would not find a place to hide in Islamabad,’’ Sanaullah said.
Recalling the events that transpired on May 9, Sanaullah said, ‘’The house of the responsible officer of the Army had been engulfed’’.
‘’The person who embraced lawlessness will be held responsible,’’ he said.
Sanaullah maintained, ‘’We believe in serving the masses and will do exactly the same thing by winning the forthcoming elections.’’
