Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Friday reached Gaddafi Stadium ahead of the launch of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The PCB chief had reviewed the arrangements in line with the opening ceremony of the domestic premium tournament.
Naqvi was also briefed about the final arrangements before the start of PSL 9.
On this occasion, Naqvi was accompanied by PCB's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Salman Naseer.
The defending champions, Lahore Qalandars, will lock horns with Islamabad United tomorrow to launch the tournament.
– David Malan, David Willey join Multan Sultans squad –
England cricketers David Malan and David Willey joined the Multan Sultans squad on Friday ahead of the ninth edition of the PSL starting tomorrow (Saturday).
Both Malan and Willey had also joined the team's training session.
Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars will lock horns against each other tomorrow to launch the latest edition of the domestic premium tournament.
The Sultans will launch their campaign against the Karachi Kings. The Kings will be studded with veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik and Kieron Pollard.
