Authorities in Lahore have intensified efforts to apprehend fugitive accused Gogi Butt in connection with the Ameer Balaj Tipu murder case.
Gogi Butt's name has been officially added to the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL), signifying a significant step in the pursuit of justice for the victim.
Both the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and local police have issued alerts at all airports across the country, aiming to prevent Gogi Butt from fleeing the country and ensuring his swift arrest.

Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies have confirmed that another named accused, Tareef alias Teefi Butt, has already fled abroad, complicating efforts to bring him to justice. However, his co-accused, Gogi Butt, is still believed to be in Pakistan. Police have launched a series of raids and intensified their search operations to locate and arrest Gogi Butt.
Additionally, the police have also launched initiated an operation to repatriate Teefi Butt from abroad, further underscoring their commitment to ensuring that all individuals involved in the Amir Balaj murder case face due process of law.
The murder case of Amir Balaj has drawn widespread attention, and the inclusion of Gogi Butt's name in the PNIL reflects the seriousness with which authorities are pursuing the investigation.
A couple of days ago, police said that on the night of Ameer Balaj's murder, the two individuals allegedly connected to the case, Tareef Butt alias Teefi Butt and Gogi Butt, were located in different cities. Police had claimed Teefi Butt fled abroad from Karachi, while Gogi Butt was present in Lahore.

The alleged shooter, Muzaffar Hussain, who served as Teefi Butt's personal masseuse for 22 years, also emerged as a central figure in the investigation. Notably, valuable information pertaining to the case has been provided to the police by Muzaffar's third wife.
Muzaffar's wife contacted the police to get the custody of his body. The sources also said that the wife has also provided some crucial information to the police regarding the case. Additionally, the Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) has been enlisted to support the local police in their investigation, the sources said.
