Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Mashhood said on Friday that the country's economy was harmed by disqualifying former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Expressing his thoughts, Rana Mashhood underscored the importance of fostering the country's economy. "If the economy is strengthened, then the situation of the poor segment of society will get better."
"The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder should apologise to the masses following the statement of Donald Lu," he added.
Crediting PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, Mashhood said: "It was Nawaz Sharif who ended the power outage in the country."

PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry said on Thursday that the PTI founder does not want a stable government in the country.
Expressing his thoughts in Faisalabad, Chaudhry lashed out at the PTI, saying, "The PTI has made fun of the martyrs.".
He underscored the importance of reaching an agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), saying, "If the agreement with the IMF is not reached, the poor segment of society will have to suffer hardships."
"Within the country, the TTP and, from abroad, the PTI are attacking the country."
He said: "The PTI has the objective of coming into power.".
