Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Friday vowed to establish the Punjab Economic Corridor Development Authority (PECDA).
CM Maryam chaired a mapping review meeting of the industrial areas. The chief minister had urged the need for mapping in line with the requirements of international industrial demand.
The chief minister had instructed to increase the proportion of women workers in the job sector.
She underscored the importance of efficient transport and roads for economic growth.

Few days back, Maryam credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for establishing the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
Expressing her thoughts, CM Maryam commended the services rendered by the CTD officials. "I would like to pay homage to the CTD officials. The CTD officials are unsung heroes," she added.
She said: "The extermism and bloodshed under the name of Islam are condemnable."
There is a dire need to maintain law and order to achieve economic development in the country.
Maryam said: "Our commitment to fight against terrorism is unwavering."
