Separately, few days back, Tarar condemned a malign campaign against the martyrs of the country.
Expressing his thoughts, Tarar assailed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying, “The PTI had made fun of the martyrs. The sacrifices made by our martyrs cannot be forgotten. We will not compromise on the honour and dignity of the martyrs.”
He said: “The smear campaign clearly suggests why the PTI is relying on foreign funding."
“The PTI always looks to please the terrorists and enemies of the country,” Tarar said.
Tarar said: “The PTI has attacked the country’s economy by staging protests outside the office of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).”
“It has been proven that the PTI is not concerned with the national interests or the martyrs of the country,” he added.
Recalling the events that transpired on May 9, Tarar said: “The military installations were attacked on May 9.”
