Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar on Friday hailed the statement of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari in line with the judicial reforms.
Speaking to the media, Tarar said: "The legislation will be done in this regard following the completion of the Senate election. There is a need for such reforms that will help masses get relief."
He made it clear that there was no threat to democracy, saying, "Fortunately, the democratic process is being run with continuity. The democratic governments had completed their terms."
Recalling the recently held elections, Tarar said: "The elections were held peacefully. Those who are having any complaints in line with the polls can raise their voice in the concerned forums."
"It was due to the one political party that the former chief justice of Pakistan, Tassaduq Hussain Jilani, had decided against becoming head of the judicial commission."

Few days back, Tarar asserted that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was looking to politicise the Supreme Court's suo motu in line with the Islamabad High Court's (IHC) judges letter.
Reacting to PTI leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan's statement, Tarar said: "The PTI leadership had tried to politicise the matter in line with the judiciary."
"It is far better to not stage politics on matters in line with the independence of the judiciary," he added.
