The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder on Friday decided to constitute a 14-member political committee.
According to details, the committee will be directly answerable to the PTI founder. It was expected that more PTI leaders would be included in the committee.
The political committee will now formulate the strategy in connection with the PTI.

The PTI core committee convened a significant meeting, addressing various pressing issues and concerns within the party and the political landscape.
During the meeting, comprehensive briefings were provided regarding the ongoing legal cases involving the party's founder, shedding light on the regrettable delays in court proceedings.
The committee strongly condemned the postponement of Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, underscoring the need for timely and fair electoral processes.
Expressing deep concern, the committee vehemently denounced the harassment of Supreme Court judges through questionable letters, emphasising the necessity for swift and decisive action against those responsible.
The committee reiterated its longstanding demands for the establishment of a full court and live broadcasting of proceedings.
Furthermore, urgent attention was drawn to addressing election-related issues, urging the Election Commission and Tribunals to promptly resolve pending matters. The committee advocated for the restoration of PTI's election symbol, “Bat,” by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
