The Sindh government on Saturday was looking to speed up the promotion of solar energy in collaboration with the World Bank.
According to details, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah chaired a meeting. On this occasion, Sindh Power Minister Nasir Hussain Shah said: "Providing 50 megawatts of power through the solar system is part of the project."
The Sindh chief minister had urged the need to start bidding on the solar panels to start working on the project.
Meanwhile, in a meeting in connection with the K-IV project, CM Murad admitted the delay in the project.
He said: "There is no room for further delay in the project. We will ask the federal government to get the funding issue from PSDP."
The WAPDA director had briefed the chief minister that there was a dispute over some part of the land.
CM Murad had asked the chief secretary to address the problem in this regard.
– Sindh minister vows to control inflation –
Sindh Minister Nasir Hussain Shah on Sunday vowed to control inflation in the province.
Expressing his thoughts in Larkana, Shah admitted that during the month of Ramadan, the price of items increases. "We will ensure the items will be available at the official rates," he said.
Speaking about the law and order situation in the province, Shah said: "The law and order situation in the province will be maintained in the province."
