Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited on Wednesday the mausoleum of noted poet and philosopher Allama Iqbal.
According to details, PM Shehbaz laid a wreath on Iqbal’s grave and offered fateha. The premier was flanked by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori.
Paying tribute to Iqbal, President Raisi also registered his comments in the visitors' book.
Prominent among those who visited the mausoleum were Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Commerce Minister Jam Kamal.
– Premier visits Karachi on one-day visit –
Earlier today, PM Shehbaz arrived in Karachi on a one-day visit.
According to details, the premier was welcomed by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori. PM Shehbaz will visit the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah along with the ministers.
He will also hold a meeting with the representatives of the allied parties, where matters in connection with the country's political and economic situations will be taken into account.
The premier will also hold a meeting with the businessperson and investors, where he will brief them about the ongoing and overall projects.
