Pakistan weather office forecast of rains with gusty winds and stormy rains from tomorrow (Thursday) till April 29 in different parts of the country.
Threats to Balochistan
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said in the wake of stormy rains — to continue from Thursday to Monday—there is a risk of flooding in Balochistan including rain-fed rivers including Nushki, Pishin, Harnai, and Zhob.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there is a risk of flooding in the local rivers of Dir, Swat, Chitral, Mansehra and Kohistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Guliat, Kashmir and Landslide concerns have also been expressed in Gilgit-Baltistan.
PDM has also instructed the farmers to be careful in creating routines regarding wheat harvesting given bad weather conditions.
There has been a risk of floods and landslides in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Guliyat, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
