Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan said on Thursday that it was important to hold talks with all the political stakeholders.
Expressing his thoughts, Khan talked about the country's relations with India, saying, "The Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan should be addressed. The war with India is not a solution to any problems."
He took a jibe at the political opponents, saying, "Some of the people's entities are all about spreading political instability in the country. The protests used to be staged to create political imbroglio in the country."
Khan had also assailed the opponents for "orchestrating the conspiracies against the state institutions and sabotaging the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Earlier on Sunday, during the by-elections, Khan expressed optimism the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will clinch a "big" victory over NA-132 Kasur in the by-elections.
Expressing his thoughts after exercising his right to vote in NA-132, Khan said: "The PML-N will emerge victorious from this constituency comprehensively."
