A Lahore district and sessions court had sought the report from the petition in connection with the appearance of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in a police uniform during the passing out parade on Thursday.
According to details, Additional District and Session Muzaffar Malik heard a petition filed by Waqar Ali Shah.
The petitioner said: "Maryam Nawaz has donned the uniform of the police official."
The court had adjourned the hearing in the case until April 29.

Meanwhile, CM Maryam vowed to increase the representation of women in the police force.
Addressing the passing-out parade at Chung Police Training Centre, while wearing a police uniform, CM Maryam said: "Nearly 7,000 women officers are rendering their service in Punjab police. It had always made me happy to see the representation of women in the police force."
"Today, while putting up the police uniform, I realised that it was a matter of great responsibility to render the service," said CM Maryam.
"It is a matter of pride that the women are rendering their service in the police force," said CM Maryam.
