Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Sherry Rehman said on Friday that the country cannot be run by locking horns on TikTok.
Addressing a senate session, Rehman said: "By letting down each other, the country cannot be steered out of the crisis. The opposition needs to show a large heart."
Stressing the need to end confrontation, Rehman said: "Now it is the time to bid farewell to foul language for the sake of the country."
She acknowledged the sacrifices made by the PPP leadership, saying, "The PPP has always rendered sacrifices but never challenged the writ of the state."
