Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Tuesday that former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry had “no access” to Adiala jail.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Memon said: "The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is ready to hold talks with the establishment but not with the politicians."
He took a jibe at the PTI, saying, "It would have been good if the PTI respected Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Mahmood Khan Achakzai."
"The news that have been surfaced from Adiala jail is totally different. Following the general elections, we [Pakistan Peoples Party] had opened the door for the all the political parties including the PTI to hold talks. But it was the PTI who refused to hold the talks", he maintained.
– PTI should hold talks with everyone including Maulana Fazlur Rehman: Fawad Chaudhry –
Earlier today, former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry said the PTI should hold talks with everyone, including Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Speaking to media outside the anti-terroism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi, Chaudhry said: "The speech delivered yesterday by Maulana Fazlur Rehman is in front of everyone. It will be difficult for the incumbent to survive if Fazlur Rehman and PTI get united."
"Right now, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and the PTI stand together in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We want that the political imbroglio should end." he added.
Lambasting the incumbent government, Chaudhry said: "The incumbent government has no entity, rather, it has come into being through Form-47."
