Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat's brother was removed on Friday as Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
According to details, the administration department had issued the notification of Khalid Latif Marwat's removal as the special assistant for science and technology.
Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet had finalised the allocation of portfolios to ministers and advisors.
Khalid Latif had been appointed as the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Science and Technology.

Separately, last month, PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat vowed not to make any "contradictory" statement in future.
In a video statement, Marwat had decided to end any reservations within the party.
"I will rest my case with the Higher Power and PTI founder if anybody does propaganda against me within the party," Marwat said.
