Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan resolved on Sunday to further strengthen the ties between the two countries.
According to details, the deputy prime minister held a meeting with the Turkish foreign minister during his visit to Gambia.
Moreover, the premier also held a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. On this occasion, both leaders discussed bilateral ties and areas of mutual interest.
Both leaders expressed their resolve to extend cooperation in trade, power, and other sectors.
Dar had also felicitated Baku on being nominated as the host for COP29.
– Israel must be held accountable for war crimes: Ishaq Dar –
Few days back, Dar said that Israel must be held accountable for its war crimes.
Expressing his thoughts during the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting (CFM) in Banjul, the deputy prime minister emphasised the urgent restoration of transparency and complete security, ensuring it unequivocally.
"The Security Council should ensure immediate action on Resolution 2728. The return of homeless Palestinians to their homes must be ensured," he added.
Dar said, "The immediate and unconditional cessation of hostilities in Gaza is imperative. The delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza must be guaranteed".
"Israel must immediately end its inhumane siege of Gaza," he added.
According to the MoFA spokesperson, Dar presented important points for resolving the Gaza situation.
Dar expressed deep concern over the continued Israeli atrocities against Palestinians during the past month.
He also praised the Saudi government's efforts as the former head of the assembly.
