Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed on Wednesday his commitment to maintain law and order in the country.
Addressing the National Conference on Education in Islamabad, the premier said: "All of us will take part in achieving the national objectives. The educational emergency will be imposed in the country."
"We will bring 26 million students to school through reforms. We will provide scholarships to the students," said the premier.
PM Shehbaz said: "The scholarships have been given to thousands of students in line with the Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF)."
The premier acknowledged the cooperation of the British government in elevating the vocational training programme.
"The vocational education programme in Punjab has been started," said PM Shehbaz.
Speaking about the Daanish schools, the premier said, "The education of high standard is being provided at the Daanish schools. The poor children are being provided with education at the Daanish schools."
PM Shehbaz said: "The country had become a nuclear power after overcoming many hardships.".
He maintained: "The country had made sacrifices of 80,000 lives in its war against terrorism."
Shedding light on the importance of education, the premier said there was a dire need to seek education to excel. "The nation's progress hinges on education," he said.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday expressed readiness to grant Uzbekistan access to Pakistani ports.
According to details, Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov called on PM Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad. The premier reaffirmed Pakistan's dedication to collaborating with Uzbekistan to accelerate and finalise all mutual trade and connectivity endeavours.
He highlighted the significance of the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan Railway Project, stressing Pakistan's unwavering commitment to its prompt execution.
The deliberations between the two parties extended to bolstered cooperation encompassing trade, the economy, security, defence, connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges.
Moreover, Saidov extended an invitation from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for Prime Minister Shehbaz to embark on an official visit to Uzbekistan at his earliest convenience.
Expressing gratitude to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the prime minister eagerly anticipated the forthcoming meeting.
