Sialkot Police on Thursday apprehended Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Rehana Dar.
According to sources, the arrest unfolded when Rehana Dar was en route to attend a prayer ceremony organised by PTI to honour "martyrs" of May 9 mayhem at Jinnah House in Sialkot.
However, before she could set foot in the venue, she was abruptly detained by a lady constable. Meanwhile, a heavy contingent of police has been deployed outside Jinnah House, sources added.
