Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday issued the agenda for the forthcoming meeting of the central working committee, slated to happen on May 18 (Saturday).
According to the statement issued, the key meeting will be held at the party's central secretariat. No change will be made in the party's election structure with the exception of the president. Only the election will be held for the post of party president in the meeting.
Morever, PML- N supremo Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal are expected to address the meeting. Approval will be given for the name of the new acting president and the party''s election.
– Law should be uniform for entire country: Amir Muqam –
Few days back, PML-N leader Amir Muqam said that the law should be uniform for the entire country.
Expressing his thoughts, Muqam said: "The order for my wife's arrest was issued. 23 cases were registered against me."
He took a swipe at the opponents, saying, "We had to bear the protest and also witnessed the attack on the Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV)".
– PML-N wants stability in country: Hamza Shehbaz –
Separately, PML-N senior leader Hamza Shehbaz said that his party wants to see stability in the country.
Expressing his thoughts, the former Punjab chief minister said: "We want to see the emergence of the country as an economic power. Staging politics is all about serving the masses."
He hoped that the PML-N-led government would deliver in the future.
Hamza expressed reservation over the terrorism incidents.
"With the blessings of the Higher Power, the menace of terrorism will be ended and the nation will emerge victorious," he added.
