While citizens across the nation celebrate Eid with their families, security personnel from the Pakistan Army and Punjab Rangers continue to uphold their duties at the international border in the Kasur sector.
Stationed at both the International Border and the Zero Line, soldiers and rangers are committed to maintaining border security. Despite the festive occasion, these forces remain dedicated to their mission of protecting the homeland.
The soldiers expressed their dedication, acknowledging the sacrifice of being away from their families during Eid. "We miss our family members a lot on Eid, but this country is also ours and we have to sacrifice for this country," one soldier stated. Another added, "Today we are standing on the border, so we feel proud that we are focused on the security of the country."
Their commitment is evident as they stand vigilant against any potential threats. "We are always standing in the eyes of the enemy to protect the homeland," said a soldier. "Army men are always here to counter any aggression of the enemy," emphasized another.
On this significant day, the soldiers also sent a message to the nation, urging unity and highlighting their readiness to sacrifice for the country's safety. "Every time we put on the uniform, we are ready to sacrifice ourselves for the country with passion," a military man declared. "We have the spirit of sacrifice and we are contented and happy here at the border," another added.
Local residents near the border also showed their support, boosting the morale of the security forces. "We will not leave our youth alone on Eid," said a local resident. "The men of the security forces are our family and capital," they added, reflecting the solidarity between the military and the community.
The dedication of these security forces ensures the safety and security of the nation, even during festive times like Eid.
