The people of Sunari Mutt, a suburb of Sui, are witnessing a transformative change thanks to the concerted efforts of the Pak Army and Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North).
In an ambitious drive to uplift the region, FC Balochistan has embarked on multiple initiatives aimed at improving agricultural productivity and enhancing the overall quality of life for the local population.
The FC Balochistan (North) has been actively creating awareness among local farmers about modern farming techniques. They have provided essential agricultural machinery, fertilizers, and seeds to the community, resulting in a significant boost in farming activities. Currently, 4000 acres of land in Sunari Mutt are under cultivation, with wheat, cotton, gram, and mustard being the primary crops.
The installation of 76 solar tube wells has further facilitated the irrigation process, ensuring a consistent water supply for the crops.
In addition to the agricultural advancements, FC Balochistan has also focused on community development. A mosque and two schools have been established, providing the local population with essential educational and religious facilities. These efforts have been met with widespread approval from the community.
Local elders and farmers have expressed their gratitude for these welfare measures. "Peace has been established by FC, and we have been provided with facilities for farming," said Tribal Leader Raja Khan of Sunari Mutt. "The condition of this area was very bad. Thanks to the Pak Army and FC for doing a lot of work here."
The positive impact of these initiatives is also reflected in the words of local farmers. "Our areas were dry, but now our crops are under cultivation, and people are getting employment," said Rahim Dad, a farmer from Sunari Mutt.
