A hospitalised girl allegedly raped on Monday at Gulab Devi Hospital in Lahore.
According to details, the police had registered the case and arrested the accused, Nauman Shakeel. The case was registered on the complaint of the victim's father.
The victim's father said: "The lab technician has raped the girl by taking her to the washroom at Zafar Iqbal Block."
Meanwhile, the police said that further investigation is underway.
Separately, last month the police had apprehend a principal of a private school in Orangi Town on charges of attempting to rape a matriculation student and assaulting her when she resisted.
According to police sources, the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Iqbal Market police station. The principal allegedly summoned the student to his office, where he made an attempt to molest her.
When the student resisted, she was subjected to physical assault.
