The Awami National Party (ANP) on Saturday denounced the incumbent government's decision to shut down the Utility Stores across the country.
Expressing his thoughts, ANP President Aimal Wali Khan took a swipe at the government, saying, "We denounce the decision of shutting down the utility stores." The federal government is putting the poor segment of society to the test despite addressing the poverty."
"The thousands of people are getting their bread and butter through the Utility Stores. Those who are offering Bangladesh aid are not thinking about their own people," he said.
Khan stated: "The temporary decisions like this cannot put the country's economy back on track.".
"The right-sizing committee needs to work with seriousness," he said.
Khan said: "The ANP will not allow anybody to let the masses face hardships despite ballooning inflation.".
