Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said cricketers Abrar Ahmed and Kamran Ghulam have rejoined Pakistan’s national Test squad ahead of the second Test match against Bangladesh.
Both players were previously released from the squad to participate in matches against Bangladesh A and were not included in the first Test.
In addition to their return, star fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has also rejoined the Test squad. Afridi had temporarily left the team to be with his family following the birth of his son.
Fast bowler Aamir Jamal has been recalled to Rawalpindi as well. Jamal was released from the first Test due to fitness concerns, and his participation in the second Test is still contingent upon his fitness, according to the PCB.
Sources indicate that two to three changes are expected in Pakistan’s playing XI for the upcoming match.
