Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Thursday blamed the government's policies for "unbridled" inflation and exorbitant power prices.
Expressing his thoughts, the former foreign minister said: "We want to see that the masses get relief. The entire country is thinking of providing cheap electricity to the poor segment of society.
He took a swipe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, saying, "When the long march was staged, the PTI founder had dropped the prices of petroleum (POL) products. Inflation has surged due to ill-mannered decisions made by the PTI."
"We give the centre an invitation to cooperate with the Sindh government in line with the solar panel project," he said.
Bhutto-Zardari stated: "I would like to express my gratitude to the Sindh government for providing the solar panel to the people."
Speaking about the power outage in Larkana, Bhutto-Zardari said: "The people of Larkana have to face the power outage for the 18 hours daily."
He stressed the need for embracing cooperation, saying, "It is always better for the centre and provinces to work together."
"We will also listen to the centre and share our own ideas as well," he added.
"It is out of understanding to see the relief on the power bills," he said.
He urged the need to sideline politics, while taking decisions to put the country's economy on track.
“It is the part of our party’s manifesto to provide solar to the poor segment of society. The Sindh government is looking to provide facilities to the poor people,” he said.
