Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday exchanged views on the country's political situation.
According to details, the premier reached the residence of Rehman in Islamabad to hold a meeting with the latter. Rehman welcomed PM Shehbaz.
On this occasion, the premier extended his best wishes to Rehman.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Information Minister Atta Tarar.
Meanwhile, Rehman had earlier taken a jibe at the government, which was formed as the result of the polls held on February 8, this year.

Few days back, President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday visited the residence of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, accompanied by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
The meeting, which took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere, focused on discussing the current political situation in the country.
During the visit, the exchange underscored the mutual respect between the two leaders, who have long been key figures in Pakistan’s political landscape.
Several other prominent JUI leaders were also present at the meeting, including Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Maulana Asad Mehmood, Aslam Ghauri, and Engineer Ziaur Rehman.
The huddle provided an opportunity for the leaders to discuss pressing political issues and explore ways to strengthen their cooperation in navigating the country's complex political environment.
