Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Raoof Hasan asserted on Sunday that his party "wants" to hold talks with the military.
Expressing his thoughts, Hasan said: "The negotiations between the PTI and establishment favor the state." He stated, "We want that all the institutions should work within their boundaries.".
He took a swipe at the government, saying, "There will be no positive outcome to hold talks with the government."
Expressing his thoughts on the Samaa TV program, Khan said: “The government is looking to join hands with JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, as right now the latter is having the importance.”.
He recalled his party’s past differences with Rehman and said: “We were against the politics that Fazlur Rehman had staged along with Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif in the past. This is for the first time that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has joined us [PTI].”
“Fazlur Rehman will realize soon that he is taking the right stance of standing with us. We stick to our principle stance,” he said.
“Talks can be held in politics with even your big opponents,” Khan said.
He said: “The PTI founder had assigned Mahmood Achakzai the task of negotiation. But it was Mahmood Achakzai, who had requested playing the role in negotiations through Asad Qaiser.”
