Prime Minister's Advisor on Inter Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah said on Wednesday that the incumbent government will continue to hold meetings with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
Expressing his thoughts, Sanaullah said: "We believe in democratic processes and negotiations. Everybody else is aware that what response the opposition gave in connection with the dialogues.".
"Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had told the opposition that the government is ready for the talks," said the PML-N stalwart.
– Talks will not be held with May 9 rioters, recalls Talal Chaudhry –
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Talal Chaudhry said on Wednesday that the talks will not be held with those involved behind the events that took place on May 9, last year.
Expressing his thoughts, Chaudhry said: "Even if the government gets toppled or any amendment takes place, then the negotiation will not take place.".
"Those who had been involved in May 9 mayhem should isolate themselves from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Meanwhile, expressing his thoughts in line with the negotiations, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Nadeem Afzal Chan said: "The PPP feels that this is the time, where the national dialogues should take place."
"The bigwigs are remaining silent. Even Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif is also silent," he said.
"The PPP had faced the military court trial," said Chan.
