Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori on Thursday invited Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang to visit Karachi.
According to details, Tessori had shared his thoughts following his meetup with the Chinese envoy. On this occasion, he said: "The Chinese ambassador had commended our other measures along with the IT program."
"I had assured the Chinese ambassador of all-out support for the investment in Karachi. The country's economic hub is Karachi, so I would like to invite the Chinese premier to visit here."
Meanwhile, in his thoughts, the Chinese envoy said: "China and Pakistan have shared the deep connection. I hope that the friendship between Pakistan and China remains exemplary forever."
Speaking about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the Chinese envoy said: "The CPEC is a symbol of steadfast relations between the two countries.
– Tessori sees politics 'hurdle' to end economic woes –
Few days back, Tessori said on Thursday that the political situation of the country is "hurdle" to end the economic woes.
Expressing his thoughts, Tessori stated: "Despite the all-out efforts and hard work of the prime minister, the outcome is not coming. When Pakistan tries to overcome the economic crunch, then events like Balochistan attacks happen," Tessori said.
Meanwhile, Tessori held a meeting with Punjab Governor Saleem Haider Khan. On this occasion, matters in line with the role of the federal government for the progression of the provinces were discussed.
Tessori said: "The federal government's role of the development in the prosperity and progress of the province is commendable."
He commended the efforts of the federal government in the development of the industrial areas.
Moreover, expressing his thoughts, the Punjab governor said: "The modern development projects are underway with the federal funding."
