Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Friday stressed the need to give priority to the national interests over the personal benefits.
Expressing his thoughts, Hussain had urged the politicians to denounce the politics of hatred and think about the national interests. "The former premier questioned: "Are the lawmakers playing for national integration?"
Hussain said: "The situation demands from everybody to join hands and find the solution to all problems to lead the country towards prosperity."
There is a need to create such an environment in the country where there will be supremacy of the constitution and law.
He was of the view that all of the politicians should play their role for the sake of the country through national consensus.
