The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday sped up its preparations ahead of the public gathering, slated to happen on September 8 (Sunday) in Islamabad.
According to details, the "big" stage is being prepared from the dozen containers for tomorrow's power show in Sangjani. There will be room for 300 people to take seats on the stage.
Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and other party leaders had reached the venue of the public gathering to review the preparations for the rally.
On this occasion, the PTI workers also reached the venue, while a large contingent of police was deployed on the occasion.
– Gohar vows to take PTI founder on board over –
Separately, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Saturday that he will take the party founder on board over the resignation of Omar Ayub as the party's secretary general.
Expressing his thoughts, Khan said: "The secretary general can only be picked through the elections. I will meet the PTI founder next week, as I could not hold the meeting with him today because of the preparations of the public gathering."
Earlier, the PTI founder accepted the resignation of Omar Ayub as the party's secretary general.
Subsequently, PTI leader Salman Akram Raja had been appointed as the party's new secretary general. Reacting to this, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said.
