Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Thursday expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for showing keen interest in the development of Sindh.
According to details, CM Murad-led Pakistan Peoples Party delegation called on PM Shehbaz in Islamabad. On the occasion, the matters pertaining to the country's political situation were underscored. The PPP leaders had also briefed the premier about the power projects underway in Sindh.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Ahad Cheema, and Ali Pervaiz Malik.
On the other side, PM Shehbaz held a meeting with the PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter's parliamentary leaders.
The delegation had expressed its gratitude to the federal government for extending support for the timely completion of the projects in KP.
Meanwhile, the PML-N leaders had also praised the premier for playing a role in stabilizing the country's economy and resolved to play an active role in taking measures for the public welfare.
PM Shehbaz acknowledges PPP's support in bid to robust country's economy
Earlier on Wednesday, PM Shehbaz acknowledged the support of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in a bid to put the country's economy back on track.
According to details, the PPP-led delegation spearheaded by former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari called on PM Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad. On this occasion, the oremier hailed the PPP as the "key ally," saying, "The PPP is the key allied party of the incumbent government.
The premier had commended the proposal of Bhutto-Zardari in line with the "Charter of Democracy."
The PPP's delegation had praised the government policies for putting the country's economy back on track. The PPP had expressed full confidence in the government's policies and measures for the sake of the country's revival.
PM Shehbaz had welcomed the proposals of the PPP's delegation.
