Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Friday extolled the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team for addressing the economic crunch in the country.
Expressing her thoughts, CM Maryam hoped: "This will be the country's last program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF)." The chief minister acknowledged the positive response from the international lender.
"The time is not far away when Pakistan will become the economic powerhouse," he stated.

Few days back, CM Maryam hailed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif's vision for controlling inflation.
Expressing her thoughts, CM Maryam said: "The prices of flour, roti, and vegetables have witnessed a reduction in Punjab. The inflation has dropped to a single digit."
She recalled the tenure of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, saying, "Even before during the tenure of Nawaz Sharif, the inflation was stable to the single digit. Now, when the inflation dropped to a single digit, it once happened during the government of Nawaz Sharif."
