Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Barrister Ali Zafar said on Sunday that the incumbent government wanted to “contain” the judiciary.
Expressing his thoughts, Zafar said: “We [PTI] will fight our war inside and outside of the parliament. Bringing the constitutional amendment into the darkness will be the attack on the democracy.”
“The Supreme Court emphasised that the vote of the PTI lawmakers will not be considered. The PTI lawmakers will not go to cast their votes in the Senate,” Zafar maintained.
– Apology 'not good enough' –
Few days back, Zafar said that the apology was "not good enough" for his party leaders' arrest.
Expressing his thoughts during the Senate session, Zafar said: "The premier or interior minister will have to tender the resignation. If you will not do this, then it will be up to your conscience."
"The arrest of the lawmakers from the Parliament House is condemnable," said Zafar.
