Former federal minister Faisal Vawda on Tuesday blasted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister after the Afghan diplomats had disrespected Pakistan's national anthem.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the senator said: "The KP CM is openly insulting the country for the sake of power." He also took a swipe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying, "The PTI is on the verge of breaking up the country."
He also lashed out at the incumbent government, deeming it "inept.".
"No condemnation statement or action have been taken by the government. Everybody is sleeping, “he lamented.
He urged the government to take action against the Afghan diplomats for violating the diplomatic protocols.
Earlier, few days back, former federal minister Faisal Vawda CM Gandapur.
Expressing his thoughts in the Senate, Vawda said: "Today, you have talked about Maryam Nawaz. Tomorrow, you will talk about our mother and sister. How we can stand by you if you will talk about splitting the country."
"Is the responsibility of protecting the life of the PTI founder on Ali Amin Gandapur. You [PTI] are looking to hold talk with the military," he said.
"The entire PTI and Faiz Hameed were aware of Arshad Sharif," she said.
