Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari said on Friday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders were planning to spread unrest in the country in the "leaked" audio calls that surfaced.
Expressing her thoughts, Bokhari took a dig at the PTI, saying, “Nobody will be allowed to spread unrest in the country under the guise of politics. Everybody is familiar with the PTI’s track record in the past.”
“What happened in Islamabad’s public gathering is in front of everybody,” she said.
“These people want to spread terrorism in the name of the rally,” Bokhari stated.
Meanwhile, taking to X (formerly Twitter)< Bokhari said: “The PTI’s hooligans have started to block the roads and indulge in vandalism. If now, action is taken against them, they will start to cause uproar.”
“This is the real face of these people,” Bokhari maintained.
– Bashes CM Gandapur –
Few days back, Punjab Information Azma Bokhari on Friday lambasted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for "conspiring against federation.".
Lashing out at CM Gandapur, Bokhari said: "CM Gandapur's yesterday meeting with the Afghan consul general was openly a revolt against the federation.".
She questioned: "Why is Ali Amin Gandapur doing all this? Who is giving instructions to Gandapur?
Bokhari took a swipe at the PTI, saying, "The party that has spread unrest is now looking to repeat the sequel of the 2014 protest."
"The PTI's public gathering in Islamabad and Gandapur's meeting with the Afghan consul general indicate the planning of the adventure in the next month," she said.
