Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said on Saturday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder was having a one-point agenda to get NRO.
Expressing his thoughts, Kundi said: “We will not let KP become part of Afghanistan. One cup of tea at the hotel has caused damage to the country.”
He praised the Pak Army, saying, “The government cannot maintain law and order in KP without the great support of the Army.
He lamented: "Today KP is facing unrest. Why all the incidents took place in Bannu? The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is facing hardships due to the corruption."
“The political workers really need to play their role considering the current situation of the country,” Kundi said.
- Political saviour -
Few days back, Kundi on Friday dubbed Rehman as the "political savior" of the PTI.
Expressing his thoughts, Kundi acknowledged the Rehman's struggle for the sake of uplifting the democracy. The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) stalwart had made it clear that President Asif Ali Zardari had asked Rehman for favor in connection with any bill.
"It is very normal for President Zardari to present gifts to the people, which helps to embrace closeness. Asif Ali Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman are old friends," he said.
