Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday reiterated that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had saved the country from default.
Expressing his thoughts, the planning minister recalled the general elections, happened in February this year. "The government has secured a two-thirds majority in the elections."
He stressed the need for political stability in the country, saying, "Bangladesh and India, among other countries, had witnessed the political stability for years."
"The government is working on Vision 2025."
Taking a swipe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Iqbal said: "The PTI government has sabotaged the progression in the country, which put the country on backfoot."
Recalling the 2018 general elections, Iqbal said: "The unnatural change was brought back in 2018 through the RTS."

Few days back, Iqbal emphasised the need for uplifting the space technology for the robust economy of the country.
According to details, Iqbal reviewed the space program of the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) during his visit there.
He emphasised the need for the continuation of the policy for the prosperity of the country.
"There is a dire need to take measures to bring innovation to the technology," he said.
