Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday extended his best wishes to the Nepalese government and people.
According to details, PM Shehbaz held a meeting with Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on the sidelines of the UNGA session. The premier congratulated Oli on becoming Nepal's premier. PM Shehbaz expressed satisfaction over the bilateral deeper ties with Nepal.
PM Shehbaz expressed resolve to further bolster the ties between the two countries. The premier had also given an invitation to PM Oli to visit Pakistan.
Both the leaders had also expressed determination to promote bilateral and geographical cooperation.
'Govt looks to promote tourism sector'
Speaking on the occasion of the World Tourism Day, the premier said: "Today, the entire world is observing World Tourism Day in line with the United Nations. The reality is that tourism connects the world. The nature has blessed Pakistan with the beautiful landscape, lush green grounds, and mountainous regions."
PM Shehbaz said: "The government is taking business measures to promote the tourism sector in the country."
"The tourists from 126 countries can obtain the fast track visas without paying any fees," the premier said.
"I am sure this step will help bolster the tourism in Pakistan." he said.
Stressing the need for embracing in unity for the promotion of tourism, the premier said: "We can promote sustainable tourism by joining hands together."
Pakistan, Iran demand end of Israeli attrocity against Palestine, Lebanon
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian demanded on Friday an end to the Israeli atrocity against Palestine and Lebanon.
According to details, the premier called on the Iranian president on the sidelines of the UNGA. Both the leaders discussed the bilateral ties. The neighboring country had stressed the need for fostering the ties.
PM Shehbaz highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation in the fields of the cultural, trade, and investment sectors. The premier had demanded a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
Both the leaders had decided to further bolster the ties between Pakistan and Iran.

Meanwhile, PM Shehbaz had also held a meeting with United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer. On this occasion, both the leaders had discussed the matters pertaining to the bilateral ties between the two countries.
Both the leaders had also underlined the economic situation of Pakistan during their meeting. PM apprised PM Starmer of the measures taken by the Pakistani government to steer the country's economy towards prosperity.
PM Shehbaz also briefed the UK premier about the challenges faced by Pakistan due to climate change.
The Pakistani premier had also underscored the sacrifices rendered by the country against war on terrorism.
PM Shehbaz said: "The terrorism is a global challenge. There is a need to join hands together to end the menace of terrorism."
