Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led Pakistan delegation on Friday walked out during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech at the United Nations General Assembly.
According to the details, prominent among those who had walked out of the UNGA during the Israeli prime minister’s speech were Attaullah Tarar, Khawaja Asif, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and Munir Akram.
The premier had raised his voice against the Israeli atrocity on the Palestinians.
"Israel is engulfing war in the Middle East," said PM Shehbaz.
It was also reported that the members from Iran and other countries had also boycotted Netanyahu's speech.
– Premier condemns violence in Gaza –
PM Shehbaz condemned the ongoing violence in Gaza, deeming it as a “great tragedy” where Palestinian children are being buried alive, and their homes are being burned.
“The world is watching this cruelty unfold,” he said, emphasising that mere condemnation is not enough. He called for immediate global intervention to halt Israel's attacks.
The prime minister strongly advocated for a two-state solution to resolve the Palestinian conflict, stating that it is the only way to end the suffering in Gaza. He urged the UN to grant Palestine the status of a permanent member, arguing that this would contribute to lasting peace in the region.
Meanwhile, the premier had also given the befitting response to India on the attrocity against Kashmiris in the Occupied Kashmir.
PM Shehbaz also resolved to end the menace of terrorism.
