Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said on Sunday that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has proved himself “inept” to run the provincial government.
Expressing his thoughts, Tarar said: “Giving a threat to attack Punjab is the announcement to repeat the similar events that transpired on May 9. CM Gandapur has made the transition from hurling abuse to opening a fire. Such intentions will only harm him, not others.”
None of the statements and measures taken by the KP government reflect democratic values. He [Gandapur] did not ask to compete with other provinces for health, employment, and economic uplifts.
“It would be better for KP government to bring revolution in the areas of health, education, and work for the betterment of the public,” Tarar said.
He said: “The corruption and incompetence dominate KP. The real competition was to provide relief to the power consumers in KP, in which he [Gandapur] failed to do so.”
“The PTI, who is responsible for putting the country on the verge of default, is having an issue to see the economy getting back on track,” Tarar said.
– PTI made ‘big mistake’ by joining SIC: Atta Tarar –
Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar said on Tuesday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) made a “big mistake” of joining the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC).
Expressing his thoughts in New York, Tarar said: “There was no entity of the SC at the parliament. The PTI had not joined the MWM, the party that was having the entity at the parliament.”
“Salman Akram Raja has made a weird statement. He [Salman Akram Raja] had said about the judge that he wanted to see the PTI getting seats.
Speaking about National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Tarar said: “We commend the speaker’s role for the sake of the supremacy of the parliament. The speaker had raised the question, How can the permission of the floor crossing be given by overruling the legislation.”
“Justice Yahya had raised key points in his dissenting note,” he added.
