Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Monday said that the democracy cannot be run through “remote control.”.
Expressing his thoughts, Rafique said: “The political parties have learnt nothing from their mistakes. Due to the mistakes of some of the people, the entire political party has to bear the brunt. The party that is now facing the heat is also due to a similar reason.”
He stressed the need for political cohesion, saying, “We will have to get united to address the foreign conspiracies.”
“None of the political parties are ready to read their manifestos after getting them published,” said Rafique.
He said: “The people feel that the PTI founder, PML-N, and establishment’s fight is the biggest. But Balochistan is facing the biggest of all the problems.”
Citing the example of India, Rafique said: “Look how India is witnessing development, but it is not ready to accept our entity.”
“Despite being an nuclear power, our people are having no roti to eat,” he stated.
