Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Monday that his government was looking to provide relief to the common people.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV, PM Shehbaz said: "The country has witnessed a reduction in inflation. Everybody will steer the country towards development. We have started the journey of economic prosperity and inflation."
"Now it is the time for the elite class to make sacrifices instead of the common person," he stated.
PM Shehbaz said, "I would like to express my gratitude for commending my speech at the United Nations. I have represented the Muslim world and Pakistanis."
The premier made it clear there is no room for politics based on anarchy.
He heaped praise on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Munir, saying, "Gen Asim Munir has played a significant role in securing the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program. The COAS has visited the brotherly countries in a bid to secure the IMF deal."
"The military leadership is working together with the government to steer the country towards prosperity," the premier said.
"Even the global institutions now agree that Pakistan is on the verge of revival.
– PM Shehbaz extends best wishes to Nepalese govt, people –
Few days back, the premier extended his best wishes to the Nepalese government and people.
According to details, PM Shehbaz held a meeting with Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on the sidelines of the UNGA session. The premier congratulated Oli on becoming Nepal's premier. PM Shehbaz expressed satisfaction over the bilateral deeper ties with Nepal.
PM Shehbaz expressed resolve to further bolster the ties between the two countries. The premier had also given an invitation to PM Oli to visit Pakistan.
Both the leaders had also expressed determination to promote bilateral and geographical cooperation.
