The vehicle sales witnessed a substantial increase of 24% in September 2024, reaching a total of 10,297 units sold in a dramatic turn for the Pakistan's automotive market,
This uptick, reported by the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), stands in stark contrast to the 8,312 vehicles sold in the same month last year.
PAMA's data further revealed that the first quarter of the current financial year has seen an impressive annual growth of 31.5% in vehicle sales, with a total of 27,585 units sold during this period. This is a notable rise from the 20,983 vehicles sold in the first quarter of the 2024 financial year.
The surge in sales not only crucial for a growing consumer confidence but also underscored the resilience of the automotive sector amid the economic challenges faced by the country.
Industry analysts were optimistic that this trend could herald a recovery phase for the market, fostering increased investment and innovation in the sector.
