The Met Department has forecast hot and dry weather conditions in Islamabad and its surrounding areas over the coming days. In contrast, residents of Murree and Galiyat can expect partly cloudy skies, with cooler conditions in the hilly areas.
According to the department's spokesperson, scattered rain showers are likely to occur in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, specifically in Chitral, Dir, Swat, and Kohistan, offering some relief to residents in these regions.
In Sindh, most districts will continue to experience very hot and dry conditions, with temperatures soaring. However, the Met Department has predicted partly cloudy weather and light rainfall in Tharparkar, Mithi, and surrounding areas, providing a break from the heat for those regions.
Balochistan is expected to remain hot and dry across most districts, with little to no relief from the scorching conditions.
Lahore weather
Meanwhile, Lahore's weather is beginning to change as cooler winds have helped reduce the intensity of the heat. The drop in temperature has brought relief, but it has also led to a rise in air pollution levels, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching 142, according to local reports.
