Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser said on Thursday that the party will finalise the plan of pouring onto streets against the government after holding talks with the deposed prime minister.
Speaking to media outside Adiala jail, Qaiser said: “We are the elected representatives and having an entity as the political party. So how can we not hold talks with the PTI founder?”
“We are also taking the other parties on board from all the provinces in our cause of holding the protests,” said Qaiser.
He averred, “We will not come under pressure, no matter whatever the tactics the government will use.”
– PTI engulfs in internal conflict –
Few days back, the PTI had engulfed in internal conflict as prominent leaders vie for position amid escalating tensions.
The discord has escalated to a public feud between former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry and key party figure Raoof Hasan, following a controversial post by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan.
The dispute ignited when Gohar Khan announced via social media that a petition concerning the health and prison conditions of PTI's founder had been filed in the Islamabad High Court. He mentioned that a second petition would be lodged on Monday, leading to questions about the party's legal representation.
