The employees staged on Friday the protest in Lahore against the closure of the restaurants to combat the threats of the toxic smog in the Punjab’s provincial capital.
According to details, the protestors had asked the government to immediately end the restrictions pertaining to the smog. Hundreds of the employees had staged the protest at the Main Boulevard Gulberg to end the restrictions imposed on the restaurants due to the dangerous smoggy weather.
The employees urged the government to consider their financial needs.
Due to the protest, Gulberg area of Lahore had witnessed a long queue of vehicles.
