Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari said on Tuesday that the masses will not endorse the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) “missed call” – embattled party’s protest slated to be happen on November 24.
Expressing her thoughts, Bokhari scoffed at the embattled PTI, saying, “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had not addressed the media following his meeting with the PTI founder.”
She berated former first lady Bushra Bibi, saying, “The apolitical woman is planning the PTI’s public gatherings. Bushra Bibi was controlling the former prime minister and chief minister through the remote control.”
Bokhari maintained, “Will Ali Amin Gandapur bring his children in the protest? Will Bushra Bibi bring her children in the protests?”
“The people of Punjab are not taking part to spread unrest like the PTI. The history is evident that those who wage jihad against the state had to bear the brunt,” she said.
She added, “The PTI’s politics has also revolved around putting the lives of people at stake.”
Bokhari lavished her praise on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, saying, “It is due to the unwavering commitment and political struggle that CM Maryam Nawaz has excelled.”
